THE CHALLENGE

To use finishes which were highly aesthetic and equally as durable for public use. Also dual finishes were required to allow natrual patination and yet tie in with non-patinating finishes on other elements.

THE SOLUTION

Bradleys used their renown Metalite bronze for handrails which show natural use and patination and a complementing Vantage Bronze powder for all other areas.

THE DETAIL

Stratford Waterfront is a new cultural and educational district in East London, featuring institutions like the BBC, V&A East, and Sadler’s Wells. Set within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, it also includes homes and public spaces.
