What is ISO14001?
ISO14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides us with a framework for establishing best practice to minimise environmental impact throughout our business, meet our compliance obligations, and oversee sustainability throughout our supply chain.
How does it work?
ISO14001 focuses on seven key areas: the context of our organisation, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement. Continual improvement in our management systems and approach to environmental concerns is built in to the standard’s specification.
