Real Metal Finishes

Real Metal Finishes

A quality range of outstanding and unrivalled metal finishes that will bring pure luxury to the surface of any prestigious project. Using our knowledge and expertise of over 50 years we have brought together the highest quality materials to introduce a range of pure metal coatings that goes beyond expectations.

Highly distinguished metals are applied to the surface of column fabrication substrates, transforming them into a class of their own. Our real metal finishes utilise pure metal filings such as bronze and brass which are combined with a resin and a curing agent and applied onto the fabricated item. Following curing the finish is then hand worked, patinated and waxed accordingly. Once processing is completed, you have around 95% real metal coating (such as bronze) on the surface. This coating looks and ages in the same way as a solid surface, yet provides many additional benefits.

Our real metal coatings bring reality within reach and come into their own when compared with solid special metals such as bronze. For example, if a client is looking for a bronze staircase and it is simply not possible due to budget restraints, or material availability, or structural loadings, then it can be made from mild steel and coated in bronze. These coatings will continue to age gracefully over time, and naturally occurring areas of relief will show through, as the patination gives way to the bronze underneath in the high usage areas. Suitable for internal and external applications, these beautiful metals lead to some timeless creations.

Real metal finishes are an art of hand craftsmanship which Bradleys have made available to the architectural market where quality and consistency are paramount, with every piece bringing a unique experience.
