Circus West Village – Penthouse Staircases & Balustrates
THE CHALLENGE
To provide a consistent bronze finish to many varied components throughout the project including balustrades, handrails and stair stringers.
THE SOLUTION
Using control samples from start to finish, we were able to deliver a quality range of bronze coated architectural metalwork. This was all well protected to reduce the risk of installation damage.
THE DETAIL
The iconic, world-famous, Battersea Power Station project covers 42 acres and is being developed in to a vibrant new town centre providing commercial space, including offices, restaurants and shops, as well as extensive residential apartments.
On the western side of Battersea Power Station, between the power station and Battersea Park, is the first phase of the project, a mixed-use development known as the Circus West village.
The Circus West village provides over 800 luxury new homes.
The penthouses are topped with a ‘glass-house’ style living space that opens out on to expansive roof terraces, enabling residents to enjoy the wide-sweeping views across London’s skyline, including views over the Battersea Power Station, River Thames, Battersea Park and Chelsea, all year round as well as ensuring the penthouses are flooded with natural light.
These luxury penthouses are not priced for the faint-hearted and they deserve only the best!
Exquisite bronze handrails, skilfully hand-crafted by Bradleys, line the stairs and atriums that lead up to the rooftop living spaces and terraces, providing a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of life in the City.
