Auriens, Britten Street, Chelsea
THE CHALLENGE
Bradleys were faced with the challenge of applying a finish to the stunning large and intricate sculptural gates designed by renown sculpture artist Rona Smith. Quality throughout was of high importance including pre-treatment and a finish to protect the sculpture for many years to come.
THE SOLUTION
Given the intricate nature and often tight spaces, Bradleys used a pre-treatment to provide the ultimate adhesion in all areas and ensure stability of the finish on the laser cut edges. The finish was thoughtfully chosen to compliment the sculpture gates and ensure a very high-grade coating in line with Bradleys expertise. A perfect balance between aesthetics and durability was delivered for the client.
THE DETAIL
Auriens offers luxury retirement living with exceptional amenities and personalized care in the heart of Chelsea. The design on the screens draws inspiration from a scroll motif, characteristic of the creations by local 19th-century designers.
