THE CHALLENGE
Rooftop balustrades in London are subject to a harsher environment than balustrades in less densely populated areas.
THE SOLUTION
Bradleys thoroughly pre-treated the work prior to applying the topcoat. This ensured the contaminates inherently present on the surface of fabricated steel were removed and ensured there was great adhesion between the steel and the coating, resulting in a strong anti-corrosive barrier against the environment.
THE DETAIL
25 Savile Row is located in the heart of Mayfair, between the world-renowned Piccadilly and Regent Street.
The art deco office building has been refurbished and Bradleys coated terrace balustrade railings for external terraces, providing much valued outdoor space for the tenants.
Bradleys also coated the balustrade around the roof terrace, from here clear views across London can be enjoyed. The roof terrace is accessed from the penthouse via a retractable glass wall, the glass wall enables people to enjoy views across London from the comfort and warmth of the building, regardless of the weather outside.
