THE CHALLENGE

The design intent called for a unique metal finish capable of complementing the building’s rich mix of natural materials, planting, exposed architectural elements and hospitality-inspired interiors. Standard colour options could not achieve the depth, character and individuality required by the design team.

The chosen finish also needed to provide durability in a swimming pool environent while maintaining the premium appearance expected within one of London’s most exclusive residential developments. Achieving a distinctive visual identity without compromising durability, performance or quality presented a significant challenge.

THE SOLUTION

Bradleys worked closely with the project team to develop a tailored Bespoke Blends finish, creating a unique aesthetic that aligned with the vision of EPR Architects for a sophisticated and timeless residents’ environment.

Using our specialist decorative finishing expertise, we produced a finish that delivers subtle tonal variation and visual depth, complementing the natural materials and botanical design language throughout the building. Our controlled application process ensured consistency across all coated elements, achieving the high-quality appearance demanded by the project while providing a robust, long-lasting finish suitable for everyday use.

THE DETAIL

At the heart of the prestigious King’s Road Park development in Fulham, the Residents’ Facilities building delivers over 2,000m² of premium wellness, leisure and collaborative spaces. Designed by EPR Architects, the facility seamlessly blends hospitality-inspired interiors with botanical influences, creating an elegant environment for residents to work, relax and socialise.
