A luxury leisure facility required large structural steel columns to be installed around a high-humidity indoor pool area. The architectural vision demanded a high-class cast iron aesthetic to complement the heritage-inspired design, while the finish needed to withstand constant exposure to moisture, chlorine vapors, and temperature fluctuations. Traditional cast iron was not feasible due to weight and corrosion concerns, and standard coatings lacked the visual depth and durability required.

Bradleys Metal Finishes developed a bespoke multi-layer Qualizinc & Metalite coating system that replicated the rich texture and patina of cast iron while offering superior protection in corrosive pool environments.
