Mitre House, 160 Aldersgate – Part II

Internal Lift Entrances & Doors

THE CHALLENGE

To provide a unique, crafted, rich finish on several hundred square metres of panelling that will transform it from ordinary to outstanding and full of character.

THE SOLUTION

Following many samples, a finish was chosen which worked directly onto the mild steel panels. Offering durability and quality as well as being versatile enough to be used on other areas too.

THE DETAIL

An office block from the 1980s, which interestingly was above the deepest car park within London, has been extensively refurbished and transformed in to high quality office accommodation and roof terraces and is set to achieve a BREEAM rating of Excellent.

266,000 square ft of extensive refurbishment. This existing building has been brought up to a very high standard of Grade A office space for the City market.

Bradleys handcrafted the finish on to the steel, a process which requires a skilful hand and an artful eye, resulting in a truly bespoke finish as no two pieces are truly identical.

I’m glad! It looks really great especially the lift doors and lift car finishes.”

“160 Aldersgate metal panels are looking good and the lift stained brown steel looks great!”
